We live in a world in which there is no escape from the use of technology in strengthening educational systems in order to know and evaluate the university student’s gains from educational outcomes and the amount of that benefit that helps them find the right social and professional future path.
The educational digital transformation lies in the creation of modern technologies in the field of digital education that enable the educational institution and its staff to implement the international higher education standards and enhance them in terms of monitoring the knowledge and competence that the student acquires in education and how to direct the student’s thinking in important information, monitoring the effectiveness of educational content and quickly assessing the student. In addition, these technologies should be scalable and expandable.
One of those digital educational transformations in adopting global modern technologies in the field of higher education is the adoption of the Canvas LMS learning management system gradually during the second semester of the academic year 2020-2021 and absolutely for the academic year 2021-2022 at the University of Technology.
The University of Technology is the first public university adopts this sober global system, and the second university after the American University in Baghdad, among the Iraqi governmental and private universities.
The Division Digital Transformation is determined to find digital solutions that help in saving effort and time for more efficient products while providing support by continuously holding courses and seminars in cooperation with the Ibn Sina Division for e-learning at the same center and building a digital repository to be considered a reference for all teachers and students Technology University
